MUMBAI: Foreign exchange reserves dropped $5.015 billion to $246.349 billion for the week ended November 14, according to data released by RBI today.

Foreign currency assets declined $5.006 billion to $237.521 billion. Gold reserves were unchanged at $8.382 billion.

While SDRs slipped $6 million to $3 million, Reserve Position in the IMF was down $3 million at $443 million.

The rupee today recovered from the lows, and closed at 50.05 per dollar when compared with the close of 50.15 per dollar on Thursday.
